Out of 2.12 lakh voters, 1.11 lakh voters did not vote. Only 1.01 lakh voters voted (47.54%).
This should change this time, and we should work towards taking it to 75% and upwards.
(Winning candidate got 46% of the total votes polled, but it was barely 22% of the total eligible voters’ votes.)
